BLOG - Next-Gen's sibling site CV (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=173102)G reports that not all game companies are amused with their games being parodied in the upcoming Simpsons game from EA.EA's forthcoming The Simpsons game parodies 30 years of videogaming and gaming IPs, but there are games companies that have refused to see the funny side of things.
"I was always under the impression that when you do parody, it's a sign of respect... If we make fun of Grand Theft Auto, we're not going to hurt the sales of Grand Theft Auto... But yeah, we've definitely had some reactions - we've had to pull stuff from the game", The Simpsons lead designer Greg Rizzer revealed to us in an interview earlier this week..........

Epic Games' VP Mark Rein tells Next-Gen that he still hopes to deliver the PlayStation 3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 this year, despite Midway's delay announcement.Tuesday afternoon, UT3 publisher Midway downgraded financial guidance as it "expects" to move the Epic-developed PS3 version of the game from 2007 to Q1 2008.
But according to Rein, a 2007 release isn't completely out of the question, despite Midway's announcement.
"As a public company, Midway felt an obligation to its shareholders to let them know about the possibility of a delay," Rein told Next-Gen in an e-mail. "Our goal is still to get the PS3 version of UT3 in stores before the end of 2007. However, we will only ship it once it’s ready and is the best game we can deliver....
