Nidzumi writes: The NASCAR series is a weird one. On one hand its a ten year old series that has always offered up a fairly competent simulation of NASCAR that is sure to satisfy fans around the world. Meanwhile on the other hand it's a circle driving simulator that barley offers any excitement. Whatever your point of view is the NASCAR franchise is here to stay but will this version be able to bridge the gap to the non-NASCAR fan?

My phone rings the radio samba mix of Portal's Still Alive, often while I'm wearing my "Solid Snake 08" campaign T-shirt.

“Of course Warhead has been under development for quite some time, and we had no desire or intention to disappoint our loyal PC fans. So, after some careful consideration, we decided to continue our support for the PC Crysis franchise with this release. But yes, all new franchises we develop in the future will be created with a cross platform strategy in mind.”

Initial Verdict: Wait On It
It may need some polish and tune-up time, but Funcom's just-launched MMO based on Conan's world is still bloody, barbaric fun.

When the original Line Rider first hit the Internet in 2006, its simplicity and lack of a real goal gave it the feel of a toy rather than a game. All you really had to work with was a rudimentary line-drawing tool and a scarf-wearing guy on a sled who would gleefully submit himself to the forces of gravity.
