Bruceongames says: "Firstly lets define what is meant by fanboy. What we are talking about is someone who has an irrational, emotional attachment to an inanimate piece of electronic equipment that makes them act in a manner that borders on the sociopathic and sometimes even crosses that border. Most gaming enthusiasts, even those who spend an inordinate amount of time and money gaming, are not fanboys."

"With time a lot has changed across Ninja Gaiden's many iterations; the stories make even less sense; platforming has become a shadow of its former self; the game has become a noted graphical and animation showcase; and combat has evolved into arguably the finest engine the industry has ever seen.

Kotaku: Yup. Four minutes of Tri-Ace's Infinite Undiscovery. Looks like the very first four minutes of the game, too, so don't press play expecting to see some kind of pre-rendered sales pitch or innovative new feature. If you're after some stodgy animation and a lot of Japanese speech, however, go right ahead!

We can always tell when it is time for the summer rush of blockbuster movies as ZTGD receive a huge chunk of games plastered with cute fuzzy characters, which usually sport the production values of a budget game. Activision has been one of the better companies handling licensed properties with such titles as Bee Movie and the Shrek series, but for the most part they are usually rushed jobs with a sole intention of cashing in on uninformed gamers.

PS3Fanboy writes-The latest issue of everyone's favorite Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that the upcoming fighter Soul Calibur IV will feature "character swapping" -- switching characters in the middle of battle a la Marvel vs. Capcom -- in its single-player story mode. A meter on the lower part of the screen will allow you perform combos using this mechanic. Strangely, there is mention of this feature in vs. mode.

TeamXbox writes: "I've always assumed that fans of Japanese role-playing games (or JRPG's for short) had to fall in at least one of two camps, if not both. They're either rabid anime fans who follow the twisting stories with ease and eat up the "big-eye" style of artwork like it was candy, or they're just fans of the turn-based battles and item collecting that come along with the RPG genre. More likely they fancy themselves as both.

CVG Write: After literally years of complaints (from us), Microsoft has finally released a tool to get your Live downloads working on your 360 even if it wasn't the console you originally downloaded them with. Users have been complaining since the console's release that, if your 360 snuffs it and you replace it, or upgrade to an Elite, all your downloads from your original console will only work on the new machine while it is connected to Live.

Nidzumi writes: The NASCAR series is a weird one. On one hand its a ten year old series that has always offered up a fairly competent simulation of NASCAR that is sure to satisfy fans around the world. Meanwhile on the other hand it's a circle driving simulator that barley offers any excitement. Whatever your point of view is the NASCAR franchise is here to stay but will this version be able to bridge the gap to the non-NASCAR fan?
