IGN Music writes: "The first thing that jumps out at you about the soundtrack to the latest MGS installment is that well-known Hollywood composer Harry Gregson-Williams provides the core elements to the score. Granted the likes of Japanese composers Nobuko Toda, Shuichi Kobori, Kazuma Jinnouchi, and several others are featured, as well, but its Gregson-Williams' presence that undoubtedly lends the whole affair a big-budget blockbuster vibe.

After all the votes have been counted, Hail to the Chimp at least deserves to be in the running for a portion of many gamers' 360 budget. While it's not necessarily the most qualified candidate on the ticket, it's got a solid platform and is entertaining enough to maintain a respectable number of party game delegates....

While the series has gotten a kick visually this time around, things are not as great aurally. Those who enjoy audio commentary may be bummed out that there's no team of announcers dissecting every point, just like last time around. Even if you're a die-hard Top Spin fan, you will be dropping a lot of expletives until you figure out the controls for this year's game.

Videogamer writes: "After what seems like an eternity (although in reality only four months) Xbox 360 gamers have finally got their hands on Unreal Tournament 3. Due to the game receiving an exclusive console debut on the PlayStation 3 the wait has been a long one for Epic's many 360-owning fans - some would say too long.

PALGN writes: "Top Spin 3 for the Wii was originally just named Top Spin, but after a small delay the game was renamed Top Spin 3 and has launched alongside the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. Ever since Wii Sports took our time away from us back in December 2006 we've been waiting for a really great tennis game to arrive on the Wii.

Even with those minor quibbles aside, it's still an excellent game. In what has to be one of the most unlikely comparisons ever made, dismembering ninjas, slaughtering fiends from hell, and taking on gun-toting battlebots has never felt so much like ballet. When one more hit will kill and there's still eight ninjas and three dragons facing you down, things can seem hopelessly frustrating.

Okay, so really this is a short collection of different video game deaths being applied to Mario, but I’d like to think these were given a shot at some point. Anyway, one YouTuber by the name of “Master0fHyrule” put together this video of various deaths for Mario that just don’t work.

When the original Line Rider first hit the Internet in 2006, its simplicity and lack of a real goal gave it the feel of a toy rather than a game. All you really had to work with was a rudimentary line-drawing tool and a scarf-wearing guy on a sled who would gleefully submit himself to the forces of gravity.

Koei's Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors games are incredibly formulaic. If you've played one, you know that each version: a) pitches you, a powerful warrior, against hundreds -- if not thousands -- of generally stupid A.I. opponents; b) contains loads of glorified historical figures; and c) could possibly wear out your controller due to all the button-mashing. Series newcomer Warriors Orochi -- this one on the PSP -- sticks to the same love-it-or-hate-it model, with a few new features that make the experience more enjoyable for longtime Warriors lovers.

The success of Wii Sports was always likely to spawn imitators but after numerous frames and tournaments with AMF Bowling: Pinbusters! we’re still left scratching our heads as to why this exists. It is, as a whole, considerably worse than what is one fifth of Wii Sports - in look, execution and enjoyment.
