The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Review (Xbox 360)

The most interesting element of the Shivering Isles is the fact that it’s basically one land that has been split in two, mirroring the disturbed mind of the Mad God. The Mania side is bright and colorful, featuring trippy, gigantic mushrooms and rolling hills. Dementia, on the other hand, is a dark swamp populated by fish-like creatures and covered in gnarled trees. The two areas stand in stark contrast to each other, and your missions will take you into both of them. The characters in each are widely different, too, particularly the Duke of Mania and the Duchess of Dementia, both of whom you’ll be dealing with frequently.
