The long wait has been hard, but Sega has finally announced that Sonic and the Secret Rings has shipped for the Nintendo Wii. The game has been built from the ground up for the system’s unique features including 100 missions in eight exotic worlds. And with Wii, you have to play with friends. That’s why Sega included 40 mini-games that supports up to 4 players.
In Sonic and the Secret Rings, players are placed in the world of ‘The Arabian Nights’ where Sonic finds Shahra, a magical genie that convinces him to help save his world from an evil genie, Erazor Djinn.
Most importantly with the Wii, the big question is how do you play? Hold the Wii-mote sideways and tilt the controller to navigate Sonic and control his dashing speed. Just by tilting the controller in various directions, you’ll make him jump, slide, stop, attack or even walk backwards. And that doesn’t include shaking the controller to fly winged pots or whipping it to launch Sonic from catapults.
Be ready to take Sonic on an all new adventure like never before for only $49.95. Sonic and the Secret Rings is also rated ‘E’ for Everyone.
